This painting reflects the naming ceremony that took place for Linda Tkachyk. The grandmothers in the spirit world had blessed me with the privilege of seeing her spirit name in Ojibway pictograph. I had seen that something happened to her when she was a little girl. She crossed over into the spirit world when she was a young girl. This is the western door way on the medicine wheel. I saw a medicine eagle being hit with thunder. That particular eagle has the spotted feathers, A young eagle around 3-4 years old .. It was shown that her name is Loving Medicine Eagle Woman. It is an honour to see this and a blessing to pass on this name
